Note: *that* marks the Greek idiom "into the thing to [verb]" -- G1519 (εἰς, "into/unto") + G3588 (ὁ, "the," neuter form τό) + an infinitive verb, occasionally G4314 (πρός, "toward") in place of G1519. The MLV converts this whole construction to a subjunctive-like form: "*that* {the subject} should/may {the verb}." Read *that* as "in-order-that" if that makes more sense in context.
