(νόμος G3551) nomos is the common word meaning law. It may mean law in general. In the N. T., however, it usually means the law of God, and most frequently the Mosaic law. entole is more specific, being used of a particular command. dogma is an authoritative conclusion, a proposition which it is expected that all will recognize as universally binding.
