(G5896) Synonyms for Pure: eilikrines (εἰλικρινής G1506), katharos (καθαρός G2513), amiantos (ἀμίαντος G283).

(εἰλικρινής G1506) eilikrines denotes chiefly that which is pure as being sincere, free from foreign admixture. katharos is that which is pure as being clean, free from soil or stain. The meaning of both in the N. T. is distinctly ethical. amiantos is unspotted, describing that which is far removed from every kind of contamination.
