First Entry ÷Berry-10 (OLB G5887) Synonyms for Faultless, Unblamed: amomos (ἄμωμος G299), amemptos (ἄμεμπτος G273), anenkletos (ἀνέγκλητος G410), anepileptos (ἀνεπίληπτος G423). (ἄμωμος G299) amomos is faultless, without blemish, free from imperfections. It refers especially to character. amemptos is strictly unblamed, one with whom no fault is found. This of course refers particularly to the verdict of others upon one. anenkletos designates one against whom there is no accusation, implying not acquittal of a charge, but that no charge has been made. anepileptos means irreprehensible, designating one who affords nothing upon which an adversary might seize, in order to make a charge against him. ... |
