Modern Literal Version
[Romans 12]

12:1 Therefore brethren, I am encouraging youĎ through the mercies of God, to present yourĎbodies as a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is yourĎ logical divine service. 12:2And not to fashion yourselves to this age, but be transfigured by the renewal of yourĎ mind, *that*youĎ may be proving in you what is the will of God: the good and acceptable and mature.

12:3 For* I say, through the grace which was given to me, to everyone who is among youĎ, not to have high-notions contrary to what he ought to be mindful of. But to be mindful of this grace,*that* he should be sensible, as God has divided to each one a measure of faith. 12:4 For* just-as we have many members in one body, and all the members do not have the same function; 12:5 so we, the many, are one body in Christ, and every one members of one another. 12:6 Now having assorted gifts* according to the grace which was given to us; if prophecy, then prophesyaccording to the analogy of the faith; 12:7 if service, in the service; if he who is teaching, in the teaching; 12:8 if he who is encouraging, in the encouragement; he who is giving, in liberality; he who is governing, do in diligence; he who is showing-mercy to others, do with* joyfulness.

12:9Let the love*be non-pretended, abhorring evil things, joining yourselves to what is the good thing. 12:10Be tenderly loving to one another in the love of the brethren; being the leader for one another in honor; 12:11 not lazy in your diligence being zealous in your spirit; serving* the Lord; 12:12 rejoicing in the hope; enduring in your affliction; persevering in your prayer; 12:13sharing in the needs of the holy-ones; pursuing your hospitality. 12:14 SpeakĎ well of those who are persecuting youĎ; speakĎ well and doĎ not curse. 12:15Ready to rejoice with the ones rejoicing and to weep with the ones weeping. 12:16 Being mindful of the same things toward one anotherand not being mindful of the exalted things, but involve yourself with the humble. DoĎ not become too prudent with yourselves. 12:17 Repay to no one evil in exchange-for evil. Plan-for good things in the sight of all men. 12:18 If possible, what is from you should be at peace with all men.

12:19 Beloved, do not be avenging yourselves, but giveĎ a chance for the wrath of God; for* it has been written, 'Vengeance is for me. I will be repaying, says the Lord.' {Deu 32:35}12:20Therefore, if your enemy hungers, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for*while doing this, you will be piling up hot-coals of fire upon his head. 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with* good.
